Facts change. amemor-ai tracks when each fact was true and which newer fact supersedes it, so you can ask “what did we believe on this date?” and also “what is the current answer?” — and get the right one. memory_latest_for_topic walks the supersession chain to today's canonical answer automatically. A plain vector database has no notion of time or truth-versioning; this is a structural advantage.
